Enjoy a stay in our peaceful 1 bedroom “not-so tiny house”. Great location, 1 hour to Mt Baker Ski Area, 5 minutes to Deming Logging Show grounds, and 20 minutes to Bellingham. Our 6 acre property includes 4 large ponds with turtles, ducks and the occasional blue heron or eagle. Guests do not have access to the ponds. The yard and ponds are not fenced, so families with children will need to keep an eye on them. Our main house is on the opposite side of the property. The rental has its own parking area for 2 cars. We enjoy the peacefulness of the property and will respect the privacy of the renters. The house is located across the property from the main house. The renters will have their own driveway access with 2 parking spots. There is another unit next door that is not currently being rented. We are available by phone throughout the day and evening. The house is located on a peaceful country road with very little traffic. It is a 5 minute drive to the Deming Logging Show grounds, a 10 minute drive to a coffee shop and grocery store at Nugents Corner, and a 15 minute drive to Everson where you will find restaurants, a bar, coffee shop, pizza and a subway. 15 minutes to Bellingham. The closest public transit available would be the WTA bus stop at Nugents Corner. There is currently no Wi-Fi available. Verizon wireless phones have cell service. We are not sure of the service for other wireless providers.
