Linga chalet is situated in the quiet and tranquil surroundings of Inverkirkaig bay, on the spectacular North West coast of Scotland. Just a ten minute drive from Lochinver with all of it’s local ameneties, is perfectly placed for either coming home to after a long walk or paddle, or simply staying in all day and watching the otters, eagles, and seals from the window. Short let licensing number: HI-00123-F The space This charming and characterful chalet is ideally situated in the little community of Inverkirkaig, which is just 2 miles along the scenic road from Lochinver, where there are good local shops, a working harbour, and a great choice of eating places. The breathtaking landscape is dominated by the fantastic peaks of Quinag, Suilven and Canisp and this area of outstanding natural beauty is ideal for pursuing outdoor activities, especially walking, hiking and cycling, in unspoiled and remote countryside. The area is abundant with wildlife and has some fabulous walks over the hills and along rivers. A great base for discovering all that the beautiful Assynt region has to offer. The chalet has two bedrooms and accommodates 4 people maximum (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds). The bathroom includes bath and electric shower. The living area has two comfortable chairs, a sofa and a selection of boardgames and books. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dining table, washing machine and everything else you need for a comfortable stay. Each room has an electric heater for warmth and free fibre broadband WiFi is also available throughout the property. Please note that the property has an electric immersion heater for hot water which needs to be activated 30-60 minutes for a bath or washing up.
