Description
You will love every moment at this recently renovated turn of the century Maine coastal cottage. This charming cottage is located at the tip of Georgetown where the Kennbeck River meets the sea. Relax on the elevated deck where you’ll feel like you’re in a treehouse! Enjoy the panoramic views of the Kennebec River, Fort Popham & beach, distant views of Sequin Lighthouse/outer islands & gorgeous sunsets. Kickback and enjoy timeless Maine coast summers with the whole family or a couple of friends! The space The cottage features a new kitchen with all amenities, a cozy living room with a wide-screen TV and Roku, built-in window seat facing scenic water views. Also on the 1st floor there's one bedroom, a full bathroom and access to the deck overlooking the water. On the second floor you will find 2 additional bedrooms (all with amazing views). Bring your login credentials: This house has a 42" wide-screen TV with a "Roku" providing all streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney, etc. The Roku is set to "guest mode" and will allow you to set a date for deletion of all your information. This is a seasonal cottage, so there's NO HEAT. Please bring your jackets/sweaters it does get cool in the evening. Limited AC available: window units installed in the main room on the 1st floor, and in bedrooms. Like most cottages in this area, water is drawn from a rainwater system, not from a public source. Guests are asked to conserve water. Other things to note We provide all linens, towels, pillows, blankets and sufficient coffee, tea, codiments and paper products for your stay. If you require additional supplies there are several options nearby. There is no laundry, but there is a laundromat nearby in the city of Bath. Note: The property has an incline from the parking spot next to the cottage to the front door, this can present issues for those with special mobility needs. FYI, the parking spot next to the cottage is not paved and should only be used by at least a crossover/SUV. Remote parking (3 min walk) it's available for an additional car of any type.
