The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. It is in walking distance from a number of grocery stores and restaurants. A public swimming pool with hot tubs and waterslides is also near. A 36 hole putting course is across the street and a public park is close by. Everything is within half a mile. The partment is in an old house, which once was the towns public library, but is newly renovated with everything on hand to make your stay enjoyable. It is an basement apartment that is bright and newly renovated. It does not feel like a basement at all. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a single bed and the other bedroom with three single beds. It is an open concept where the sitting room, dining room and kitchen are in a nice flow. The kitchen is fully operational with everything a kitchen needs, including a toaster, kettle and more. In the bathroom there is a washer and a dryer. Across the whole apartment there is a floor heating-system. Guests rent the whole apartment. If there is anything, we live on the upper floors so you can come up and knock on the door or just phone us if you need anything. Since the apartment is in the center of Keflavík grocery stores, restaurants, bars, parks, swimming pool, public library, putting course and more are all with in a half a mile. The house which used to house the towns public library is on a quiet street. Parking is free, and you can park right in front of the house. Getting around the neighborhood is easy since everything is in walking distance. If you want you can rent a small car on the premises. It seats five grownups and since we have kids of our own we can fit it with a booster seat/toddler seat for you if needed. We are renting it for $100 a day with unlimited mileage. Just let me know if that is something you would want. If you do, just drive safely and return it with a full tank of gas.
