We have an amazing view across a beautiful valley to a nature reserve. Our garden is over 1 acre in size and we are regularly visited by deer, foxes and wonderful birds including woodpeckers, owls and buzzards. We have a natural spring in our garden that we use to fill our wood fired hot tub. Other things to note The Gloucestershire Parish of Chalford covers two square miles of some of the most beautiful countryside in the whole range of the Cotswolds. It lies four miles south-east of Stroud on the north side of the River Frome, eight miles west of Cirencester, and in and above the Golden Valley. In this part of Gloucestershire the Cotswolds are cut by deep gorge-like valleys opening out westward into the Severn plain, and having characteristics strikingly different from the shallower combes watered by Cotswold streams feeding the Thames. At Chalford the valleys are Alpine in character, deep, narrow and well wooded. This whole area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a huge amount of amazing walks available right from our door. There are 4 pubs that serve good food within walking distance, Regency Cheltenham is 40 Minutes away and Historic Cirencester (The Capital of the Cotswolds) is just 20 minutes away.
