An old house built in 1936 with charming soul located in the fishing village of Patreksfjörður. Our cozy and historic house is based in the center of the town with everything you’ll need in walking distance. The space The house is old and still has a lot of original materials inside and out which makes it quite interesting and a cosy place to stay. The house has two floors: The upper floor: Kitchen, living room, bathroom and small bedroom at the entrance hall. Living room: There is a view to the sea and the mountains, garden and nearby playground from the living room. There is a sofa, dining table, chairs, and a TV. Kitchen: is newly renovated and has a refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee maker+coffee and a toaster. Bathroom: toilet, shower/bath tub and a sink. Not the biggest bathroom but it has everything you’ll need. Small bedroom: Has one 90cm bed and nightstand. Lower floor: small bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a laundry room. Bathroom: Toilet and a sink. 2 bedrooms together: To get to the master bedroom which has a double bed, nightstand and a closet you have to walk through one bedroom which has two 90 cm beds. The rooms have original wooden floors. The rooms are very bright and spacious. The laundry room is quite big and has a washing machine and a dryer. If you don’t mind some partly unpainted walls where needed and original floors then this is the right place for you. The location is great, the environment breathtaking, and you can relax in our cozy old house while enjoying the west fjords. Other things to note Attention: This is not a modern newly renovated house. In some places there are holes in the walls, some finishing touches and painting needed. There are squeaks in the floor and the steps which is part of the old soul of the house. But on the other hand, everything works and the house has what is needed to enjoy a good stay in the fishing village of Patreksförður The stairway down to the lower floor from the upper floor is through a trapdoor that is in the kitchen. The stairs are very steep, and guests have to be careful when going from upper floor to the lower floor when going through the trapdoor. It is also possible to go to the lower floor through an exterior door. Please be very careful ❤️
