Description

My home is a throwback to disco-drenched loft living in the late 1970's. This former ice cream factory is built to entertain with 14ft ceilings and tall windows being just part of the vibe. Each space has been thoughtfully considered to make it as fun and interesting as possible. The space The Creamery is a brick building in back, behind an unassuming tan clapboard house. As you head down the driveway, you'll see the brick exterior of former ice cream factory on your right. Park anywhere on the right. You'll enter from the old loading dock (two stairs), to find a closet and galley kitchen and open concept dining area, living room with well worn, white vintage leather couches, and open area all right there. The dining area has a large oak table from the library of Eating Well magazine and can handle up to 8 gourmands. There is mezzanine level den with TV, couch, and access to 2 sleeping areas, "the napshack" and "the loft". Each is simply appointed with a full or queen bed, and not much more. Both of these spaces take advantage of the high ceilings to provide a half-story and are therefore kneeling spaces. The moody master bedroom has a queen bed, closet, dresser, and chandelier! There are 2 stairs required to get into the building and a threshold at the entry door. However, the master bed and bathroom are all at the same height. The two loft spaces require 5 stairs and then a step stool to access and currently have no doors. Guest access The whole place is yours. I will be onsite as the laws of Burlington require this for part-time airbnbs, but I will not be in your immediate living space. Other things to note My adorable long haired orange cat named Raymond James and I have lived here for 4 years. He may try to come in, and if it is ok with you, you can let him.
