Madrid Loft is a modern and cozy double-height apartment, featuring one bedroom, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining area. Recently renovated, it is located in the heart of Madrid, in the Arganzuela district, near Atocha station, Embajadores metro, Puerta de Toledo, and the Reina Sofía, Prado, CaixaForum museums, Retiro Park, Botanical Garden, Madrid Río, and Matadero Madrid. Ideal for couples or small families. The space Madrid Loft is a modern and cozy double-height apartment with one bedroom and two bathrooms. With spacious areas and natural light, it has been recently renovated and designed to offer all the amenities, making it ideal for both couples and families. Our goal is to provide guests with a warm and welcoming space where they can feel at home during their stay. Located in the heart of Madrid, on a charming, typical street in the Arganzuela district, surrounded by local shops, bars, and restaurants. The apartment has direct access from the street, offering great independence to guests, and is well-connected by public transportation, including bus stops and nearby metro stations Embajadores and train/Cercanías stations Delicias and Atocha. Just a few steps away from the city’s most famous museums and urban parks. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. To access the apartment, you only need to climb three steps, and to reach the upper level, there is a staircase with about 15 steps. Given the two-level design, we recommend considering this detail if you are traveling with young children or elderly guests, as indicated in the images of the listing. Guest access At Madrid Loft, you will have full access to the property, and our main goal is for you to feel at home during your stay. 👶 Family services: If you are traveling with a baby, upon prior request, we can offer a pack with a high chair and crib for a cost of 45€ per stay (please ask about available payment methods). 🛏️ Property layout: The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed, and the property has two full bathrooms, one on the ground floor and another on the upper floor. On the upper floor, you will find a spacious wardrobe with a full-length mirror, as well as an iron and ironing board. 🚶‍♀️ Independent access: You will access the property directly from the street by only climbing 3 steps, with no need to enter the building or use an elevator, offering great convenience. 🌞 Lighting and privacy: Electric blinds on the upper floor allow you to darken the room, while the living room window does not have curtains but features frosted glass, letting in light without compromising privacy. 🧺 Laundry: The property is equipped with a washing machine but does not have a dryer. However, we have a drying rack, and thanks to Madrid's dry climate, clothes dry fairly quickly. 💧 Hot water: Hot water is supplied by a 100-liter DUO Flex electric water heater. It is important for guests to be mindful of hot water usage: letting the water run excessively before showering will waste hot water, and you will need to wait for the heater to warm it up again. The same applies if you use the washing machine or dishwasher, as the water heater supplies the entire property. 📺 Entertainment: We have two smart TVs, one in the living room and another in the bedroom, and high-quality internet connection. We kindly ask that you do not disconnect or connect external devices. 🌡️ Climate control: The property has central air conditioning, which works for both heating in winter and cooling in summer. Please note that due to the double-height design, the upper floor will heat or cool more quickly. 📬 Mail: We do not have a mailbox to receive mail, as it is a short-term rental property on Airbnb. However, if you need to receive packages or mail, we can provide you with information on places that manage such services, although we are not responsible for this process. 🛋️ Sofa bed usage: The living room has a sofa bed for two people. Please note that due to its location in the living area, there might be some street noise (check the sofa bed usage instructions under “Other important details”). We are always available for any questions you may have, both before your reservation and during your stay with us. Important note: All prices mentioned are exclusive of VAT. Other things to note At Madrid Loft, you will have direct access from the street, with only three steps separating the entrance from the property. If you are traveling with elderly people or anyone with mobility difficulties, please take this detail into consideration. The property is equipped with a security door, ensuring independence and peace of mind for our guests. Check-in Time: Our check-ins are in person, so we schedule a time with our guests; we do not leave keys. - If your arrival is on a Sunday, a local holiday (in Spain or the Community of Madrid), or after 9:00 PM (9:00 PM), an additional fee of €30 will apply, which must be paid to the host at check-in. - If your arrival is between 11:00 PM (11:00 PM) and midnight (12:30 AM), the fee will be €50, payable at check-in. - For arrivals after midnight (12:30 AM), please contact us in advance, and we will schedule a time and price based on your arrival time. -If your arrival falls on a holiday and during one of the times mentioned above, which incurs an additional charge, you will be required to pay both the holiday fee and the fee corresponding to the arrival time. - Arrivals on days such as December 24th or 31st will only be possible until 4:00 p.m. After that time, no check-ins will be conducted. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip. Late Arrivals: -If your arrival time is between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM, you must comply with the time previously agreed upon with the host. In the event of a late arrival without prior notice, an additional charge of €10 will be incurred for every 30 minutes of delay, which must be paid at check-in. At We Madrid, we value the time of all our guests and hosts, so it's important to respect their schedules so everyone can enjoy a pleasant stay. Non-smoking policy: At Madrid Loft, we respect smokers, but kindly ask that you refrain from smoking in any indoor areas of the apartment. If this rule is violated, we will be compelled to apply the fine specified in the house rules. House rules: Out of respect for the neighborhood and in accordance with community regulations, parties, gatherings, and pets are not allowed in the apartment. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful and comfortable environment for everyone. Family services: Upon request, you can ask for a baby pack that includes a high chair and a crib for an additional cost of 55€ (excluding VAT) per stay. Sofa bed use: It is important to note that, as indicated in the listing, the loft has one double bed and one sofa bed. If your reservation is for 2 people and you still need to use the sofa bed, an additional charge of 25 € (excluding VAT) for the entire stay will apply. This request must be made at least 4 days before your arrival. If we do not receive the request, we will assume that the double bed will be sufficient for your stay. External noise: We want to clarify that we cannot be held responsible for noise or other disturbances caused by occasional work in the community, on the street, sidewalks, or nearby buildings. While we are available to assist you, there are situations beyond our control that we cannot manage. Occasional neighbor noise: We want you to enjoy a peaceful stay at our property. However, as the apartment is located in a typical residential building in Madrid, it is possible to occasionally hear noise from neighbors, such as conversations, footsteps, or occasional activities. We do everything we can to provide a quiet environment and have made improvements to soundproof the space, but some external situations are beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that we are always available to help if you experience any discomfort. Luggage policy: Since we are not a hotel and do not have the necessary infrastructure, we cannot accept luggage before check-in. Luggage must be brought into the apartment with guests at the time of arrival. We do not have storage space, nor do we have personnel dedicated to this management. We ask that you consider this when planning your trip. If needed, we can provide information about nearby businesses that offer luggage storage, but we are not responsible for the decision made by the guest or for the service provided. Parking: The apartment does not have private parking. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for fines or any incidents related to parking. We recommend checking the current regulations on the Madrid City Council website, under the section: Regulated Parking Service (SER): Hours, territorial delimitation, and differentiated areas. If you rent a car, we suggest asking the rental agency for complete information. We do not issue parking authorizations or manage parking. Home layout: We kindly ask that you do not alter the layout of the home by moving the furniture, disconnecting the televisions from the wall, or connecting external equipment to the televisions. These actions could cause damage to the property and, consequently, result in additional costs.
