Enjoy a trip to our charming cottage in Gilwern, perfectly located within the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. With the picturesque Monmouth Brecon Canal running through the village and the mesmerising Black Mountains acting as a backdrop, it is an ideal base for (dog)walking, cycling, and exploring the local area, including the delightful market town of Abergavenny, ‘The Gateway to Wales’ Guests enjoy driveway parking for one car. Dogs and bikes are welcome. The space PARKING Guests enjoy off-street parking for one car in the large driveway of the neighbouring, separate property, with additional free off-street parking available further along the road. LIVING ROOM Entering the living room, guests are greeted with a snug, homely space set up for guest use with a comfy sofa bed, single armchair, and large-screen Smart TV. KITCHEN The kitchen is set up for self-catering (although there are lots of great spaces to eat close by!), with a mini-fridge freezer, oven, stovetop, and other cooking essentials for guests to make use of. There is a small breakfast bar with seating for two. COURTYARD The kitchen leads out to a private courtyard with seating and a table for al-fresco dining under the stars, or coffee in the morning. BEDROOM Equipped with a sturdy king bed, bedside table, and lamp for late-night reading, as well as a chest and cupboard for storage. Located just along the hallway from the bathroom, with a full-length mirror and hairdryer for guest use. BATHROOM The modern bathroom provide a large walk-in shower, toilet, sink, and heated towel rail. Shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and hand soap are stocked for each guest visit. Guest access The whole space is for private guest use.
