Baby & dog friendly home in Saugerties
Description
A short walk from the village, this home has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one upstairs and one down, making it a great place to share and have space. Queen-sized sofa bed in the den. The entire house is light filled and full of my lovely house plants. Well stocked kitchen and cozy fireplace. Baby-proofed home with a changing table, crib and a pack & play! If you have a well-behaved & non-shedding dog, I'm open to discussing it with you! The space A quiet location with beautiful land, woods and river access, we are also conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the town of Saugerties with cafes, coffee shops, lovely shopping and more. An easy drive to hiking, skiing and endless other Hudson Valley fun. If you prefer to stay in there’s a well-stocked kitchen and a cozy fireplace. Remote workers can enjoy the antique desk, chair and WiFi. Guest access This home is located within a cohousing community. We all own our homes individually but we own the 12 acres of land collectively. Super family friendly, the houses are built in a circle (with the cars behind) so that kids, dogs and the rest of us can safely play, lounge and commune in the center of the circle. We have a common house where we eat, play and work together. Located on the Esopus, we have river access and a few acres of beautiful land to stroll around. This listing is for my home but if you’d like to explore the common spaces let me know and I’ll inform the other community members to expect you. Other things to note The living room has a queen sized sofa bed if you want to up your numbers to six. That said you might find a house a tight squeeze with that many of you for a long time. I’d say it’s a much more comfortable space for two to four guests for longer than a day or two. There is a co-sleeper, pack & play and a changing table so we're all set up for babies if you have one.
