About Welcome to Cherry Tree Avenue on the border of Brittany and Normandy, a short drive or cycle ride from Mont Saint Michael. The new, fully equipped kitchen has created a perfect gite for up to 5 guests. We are in a quiet, rural location at the edge of the village of Le Ferre in Brittany which has a delightful small restaurant and a bakers. Nearby St James has a weekly market and offers a wide range of shops & amenities, including the SAINT JAMES clothing factory and boutique. The space A stone built farmhouse set in more than half hectare of land, laid mainly to grass. There are many trees, including the avenue of cherry trees. The separate ground floor gite comprises of a salon, kitchen and two ensuite double bedrooms with private front access and French doors to the rear garden. The kitchen facilities include : induction hob, oven and extractor, fridge/freezer and dishwasher plus a seating area. The kitchen has great views over the countryside and gets lovely morning sun. Guest access You will have direct access through your own front door to a delightful salon with a wood burner, two comfortable sofas and TV for relaxing. The dining area is perfect to work on your laptop or play games as well as enjoying quiet or family meals. {\b This is bold.} The well equipped kitchen has everything you need including a microwave, kettle and pod coffee machine and is accessed from the rear of the salon. There is also a small table, chairs and bench seat with French doors leading to the grassed garden with a picnic table and stupendous views. From the salon a hallway provides access to the 2 en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed with the option of an additional single child's bed available for bedroom 1 and/or a baby's cot. Each room has double USB charging points at both sides of the beds, a wall mounted TV and a hairdryer. Each en-suite has a spacious shower with both handheld and rain shower heads, a toilet and a vanity unit with a large mirror. there is a shaving point, heated towel rail and additional magnifying mirror. An iron and board are also provided. Sorry we do not have the facilities and cannot allow pets The front door has one step into the lounge then everything is on one level and there are no steps inside apart from the kitchen which you have to step down for access. Bedroom door sizes are 70 cm which is fine for a small wheelchair. Other things to note High speed WIFI is available in all rooms. The front of the house is south facing and the garden is mainly laid to grass with many nice trees including the avenue of cherries, offering you the option of relaxing in the sun or shade. There is ample parking and a secure building for bicycles and motorcycles. Around the property there is some lovely bird life including, woodpeckers, buzzards, owls, kites and many smaller birds. We are in a rural location. At certain times of the year there will be agricultural traffic so take care when out walking or cycling! Would you like some tennis coaching?
