However, some insects very rarely come into the house because guests open doors and windows during their stay. Also, they can get into even from the smallest cracks.  【For Foreigners】 Normal Japanese houses have entrances on the first floor, so our house is not really airtight. It is very hard to prevent all invasion of insects for almost all houses in Japan. Because this kind of problem is very common in Japan, please understand it. That’s why we couldn’t give you a refund due to pests.  【Cleaning/disinfection】We clean the entrance door and any other places that you might touch by using alcohol spray. In our accommodation, there is no facility that you share with other people. Guest access This accommodation is for private use. You can go in and outside without restrictions after check-in. Other things to note This accommodation is located in a quiet residential area. This is not the place for party. Please cooperate with our check-in procedures. According to Kyoto ordinances, it is mandatory for us to meet guests at the beginning of their stay to complete the check-in procedures. Therefore, we ask all the guests to organize time schedule to meet us. We may not always be able to meet each guest at his/her designated time because we have to meet each guest and go to the site to complete the check-in procedures. Please understand that we may not be able to meet your schedule. ★We do not store baggage before check-in time and after check-out★ ★Check-in after 21:00★ We are afraid that we don't accept check-in after 21:00. If you need a bedding for them, one adult fee will be added to the room charge. In this case, please count them as an adult regardless of their age when booking. Please note that we will not be able to respond to your request if you tell us on the day of your arrival. ★If you arrive in Japan at the check-in day Due to the recent increase in the number of tourists visiting Japan, the waiting time for immigration inspection and baggage collection may also be extended. The total time required to complete all immigration procedures and purchase tickets might take you more than 90 minutes. Our check-in counter is closed from 9:00 pm, you will be charged an overtime fee if you come to check-in after this time. Therefore, please plan the time required for transportation to Kyoto.
