Description
Tucked away location on the edge of the Sidlaw Hills. Perfect to explore Scotland, whether you're hiking, skiing or sightseeing - Glamis Castle, east coast beaches & castles, Braemar is a drive through dramatic Glen Shee to Cairngorms National Park, and the Angus Glens are just up the road. Dunkeld, St Andrews and Pitlochry are perfect days out. We're on the doorstep of Perthshire Big Tree Country for stunning autumn colour. Or visit V&A Dundee to get your art fix. The space This is a new build house, in the style of a scottish longhouse; but with a contemporary twist. The studio is an annex to the main house, and has just been decorated, with a new kitchen and gorgous walk in shower room. There's a connecting door, but this is kept locked when I have guests here. It's really comfy, wood floors with underfloor heating throughout. It's a good size, with sofa area for relaxing, small dining space, and a well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge and freezer. There's no TV or phone signal, but we have wifi for streaming, calls or work. We are along a quiet lane with just a few neighbours. I have a dog and 2 cats, they're all pretty chilled. I need to emphasise - this is a new build and the landscaping isn't finished and there's some builders materials in the garden, which is why it's on at a reduced nightly price at the moment. Guest access Full access to the studio annex. if you're bringing a dog, there's a small grassed area in front of the annex. Please read house rules if you're bringing a dog. Other things to note Just to reiterate - the garden hasn't been landscaped yet. There's a Type 2 EV chargepoint here which guests are welcome to use. the costs is 40 ppkwh, which is less than public chargers locally. Just let me know when you book if you'd like to use it.
