Welcome to the antique Villa Holm 6, an idyllic and quiet vacation home in Småland! The charming villa from the 19th century is habitable in all seasons and offers all kinds of experiences for young and old due to its location. Next to the villa there are two other vacation homes, which are inhabited by Swedish families. The space In the cozy home, 9 people, even with pets, can spend their vacation. Going through the front entrance into the house, you will find a romantic porch that invites you to relax. Inside, on the ground floor, there is the large living room with windows on all sides, a large sofa and armchair to relax, a large table for eating together, a fireplace, and a piano that can be played. On the other side is the terrace overlooking the meadow and the forest, which is also part of the property. Right next to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen, also with a dining table. Next to the kitchen is the first bedroom, which can accommodate two people. There is also a bathroom with a separate shower on the ground floor. On the 2nd floor, right when you come up, you will find a living room. In this room you can relax or work. From the living room hallway there are 4 bedrooms. Two people can sleep in three of the rooms. One person can be accommodated in the middle room. There is also another bathroom with shower. The single beds can also be pushed together to form a large bed. All rooms have at least one window with beautiful views of nature! Next to the house there is a small, super cozy station house with another bed for guests who want to have their peace and quiet. However, this cottage is more suitable for the summer months. The main house is fully equipped with a water filter system. The courtyard and barn are still partially under renovation, but can already be used by guests. Pets are ONLY allowed on the ground floor and not on the beds or sofa! Guest access Guests have access to all rooms except for a storage room. Access to the pond Access to the pond right in front of the house is secured by fences and gates. Entry of the pond area by children is entirely at the discretion of the parents or caregivers. Entering is expressly at your own risk. We assume no liability whatsoever. Other things to note Activities in the area In the immediate vicinity you can take beautiful hikes in spectacular landscapes, swim in the numerous lakes in the area in summer, which can also be reached on foot or ride the draisine through impressive natural landscapes and watch moose in nature parks. In winter, you can ski and snowboard on the nearby "Dacketstupet" ski slope. The slope can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Ski and snowboard accessories can be rented on site. In the event that there is not enough snow to ski, snow cannons are used to ensure that the slopes are passable. For the little guests, the large hill in the garden can be used well to toboggan and have winter fun. For athletic visitors, in addition to the ski slope, there is also the possibility to work out on the cross-bike track in summer. In addition, there is Europe's longest zipline (Little Rock Lake) close by. A total of 16 ziplines are available with four kilometers of thrills between the treetops and five different routes to choose from. You can jet through the forests of Småland at speeds of up to 75 km/h. The facility can be reached in just 30 minutes by car. Furthermore, you can be at the Baltic Sea within an hour and 20 minutes and see the beautiful town of Kalmar or take a trip to the world of Astrid Lindgren. Only 40 minutes away by car, in Vimmerby, you can immerse yourself in the world of Pippi Longstocking, Michel from Lönneberga and Co. and visit the Pippi Longstocking Adventure Park. These and many other activities make holidays in Scandinavia unforgettable. The house is in a largely natural environment, which can lead to encounters with local wildlife, such as elk, wild boars, deer but also small animals such as snakes and adders. These are mainly found in tall grasses. Please pay special attention when entering areas where tall grasses grow to wear appropriate footwear and appropriate clothing.
