We have century old cedar trees, an old growth forest in the front yard and 300 feet+ of ocean frontage on 4 acres of land. *Master bedroom on entry level with a king size bed with water view and ocean sounds. TV in master. *Entry level with large family room with views and oversize kitchen, laundry room, half bath *Entry level - Office/bedroom with twin beds *There is a desk and computer monitor in the twin room that faces the waterfront. If you have to work then at least you can watch for animal activity/and marine traffic while working!! *Downstairs = 1/2 basement (ground = ~ chest level) has a large TV/family room with professional grade pool table played on by professional player “Minnesota Fats” *Downstairs two separate bedrooms (queen size beds) and one private full bathroom *Beach access directly from the yard. Beach is rocky at high tide. At low tide it is rocky initially and then sandy at the low tide area *Town is approx 5-7 min easy drive *House access is up 4 cement stairs to get to front porch. Then you could stay on main level if needed. Driveway is dirt/gravel -just in case you use walker *only one camera on property. - 1 critter camera only. - not a Ring. - SanDisk. On driveway. My driveway is a game trail for wildlife so I like to see what wildlife comes and goes. It’s facing the house about halfway down the driveway. Only facing the house because oftentimes the wildlife comes up from the ocean while enroute to the forest. I ask that you don’t disable my camera please. I really look forward to seeing what wildlife passes through unnoticed. Thus far I have seen - bears, deer, huge herd of elk!, cougars, raccoons… see album in house You will have access to the whole place....along with the bears, deer, eagles, cougars, and wolves!! Oh my! Home is very private and is waterfront, but in the middle of a forest. There is a small town with full size grocery store, a few restaurants including brew pub/craft pizzas, food trucks, liquor stores, cannibis store, outdoor stores, coffee shops, beautiful pier, orca viewing trips, salmon fishing trips, kayaking trips, photography trips, grizzly bear tours/whale watching combined, plus 30 min to Telegraph Cove for more whale watching and grizzly tours., etc. Approximately 7 minutes to the town of Port McNeill, where there are grocery stores, sports stores, restaurants, bars, cafe's, and daily orca whale watching trips.. Approximately 30 minutes to Telegraph Cove for day kayaking trips (professionally guided) or day grizzly bear sight seeing tour (very interesting). Also, suggest taking a picnic lunch and hike to the Pacific side (San Josef Bay), and Little Huson Caves are pretty and worth an afternoon visit. First Nation Indian historical museum (totems, etc), at Alert Bay (accessible by BC ferry)...worth an afternoon visit as well OR try your luck and take the BC ferry across to Sointula Island and go to Bere Point where (if you're lucky), you might have the Orcas swim right past very close to the shore (take a picnic lunch) :) ***hot tub access is seasonal ~ (mid/late June - mid/late September). Other times, the jacuzzi will be non operational (unless booked for 5 nights or more in the off season)***
