PLUS ask for a farm tour! The space Lose yourself from the stresses of everyday life in our beautiful and spacious Coach House. With an oversized living space and gorgeous exposed beams, it's easy to forget the noise and reconnect with your fellow travellers. Perfect for large families or multiple couples - we can easily sleep 14 with our 4 bedrooms including the oversized bunk room. Enter up the long shared driveway, passing through traditional English hawthorn hedges. This sets the tone for your heritage getaway. Enjoy the sizeable yard to yourselves - let the kids run free on the green lawn or sit on the deck and listen to the soft sounds of nature. Ahhh, the serenity. If you feel like some exercise but don't quite want to leave the property? Step into "The Park" and enjoy a sunset stroll whilst soaking up the farmland vistas. Take your pick of bedrooms; there are 3 bedrooms + the large bunk room. The two main bedrooms are situated at opposite ends of the house. The ‘Sandstone Room’ will transport you into the life of an 1830s carriage driver. Perhaps, carriage owner would be more accurate: with its sandstone floors, private woodfire and regal furniture. This room sits next to the laundry and shower. A private shower, very plush. Or do you choose to slumber so you wake up and look out over Mother Cummings Peak in bedroom two the 'Mountain Room’? A cup of tea in bed with mountain views? Yes, please. The third bedroom is the ‘Loft Room’ with a plush queen bed tucked above the kitchen. NB - The stairs are very steep and it is right above the living area so it doesn't have the privacy or quietness of a full bedroom. The ceiling is low enough to touch the beautiful original wooden beams on one side, but you can stand up at the other end. A unique space! For large groups of people there are 2 super king bunk beds in an expansive room. Each mattress could comfortably sleep 3 but we provide sleeping bags for 8 total (2 people per bed). We will provide beautiful linen for the three main bedrooms and, for the big bunk room, we provide sleeping bags with freshly cleaned cotton liners. The bunk beds are appropriate for children, teens and spirited adventurers. The canvas is comfortable for canvas foam, but it is not a mattress as we know it. With two bedrooms at opposite ends, the loft room connected with a large living area conducive to entertaining, it's a great place for multiple couples, families and gatherings of friends. With a large bunk room and two bathrooms, it's a rare opportunity in the region to accommodate a large group. And the modern kitchen will delight the cooks in the group! This is a receptor for great meals and easy entertaining. If the weather is warm, spread out onto deck with outdoor table. Listen to the wood fire crackle and re-connect with some old school board games. Feel free to enjoy some great reads from our carefully curated library or gather round the tv for a intimate movie night, using the in-house chrome-cast to select your favourite drama! We love our farm and have thrown ourselves into renovating the buildings. We have strived to retain their original character with a splash of modern conveniences. We cannot wait to share the wonder. Guest access The driveway to the Coach House and the " Park" adjacent to the building. There is also a large yard to enjoy. We ask you to park cars at the Coach House gate, but not inside the yard.
