Upon arrival at Pine Hill Hideaway, you’ll be greeted by a welcoming front porch—perfect for sipping morning coffee or a refreshing drink while watching wildlife pass by. Nestled in the woods of New York’s Southern Tier, this cozy cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Inside, you'll find a full kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking and baking with ease, along with complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water. A 3/4 bathroom and all linens and towels are provided, so you can settle in stress-free. The decor features handcrafted local touches—a beautiful queen-sized log bed and a live-edge counter made from a local hemlock tree. Dine at the antique cherry drop-leaf table, then relax in the cozy living room with a queen-sized sleeper sofa and reclining chair. Step outside to enjoy a campfire area with complimentary firewood, where you can unwind under star-filled skies and listen to the sounds of the forest. You might hear the gentle call of barred owls or spot deer passing right outside the bedroom window. A bear occasionally roams the area but keeps to itself. Looking to work remotely in peace? The cabin offers high-speed fiber optic internet, making it an ideal getaway for remote work. Other things to note Location and Safety Information Pine Hill Hideaway is conveniently located just 25 minutes from both the Mt. Morris and Portageville entrances to Letchworth State Park. Swain Ski Center is about 30 minutes away and can be reached faster when seasonal highways are clear. Important note: Seasonal highways are not plowed during winter months, and cellular service is often unreliable on these roads. Additionally, towing services do not operate on seasonal highways during winter. While these roads are great for exploring in spring, summer, and fall, please exercise caution during winter. New for 2024: In May, we installed a water well on the property. The well water is safe to drink, but some guests notice a mild iron taste. To ensure your comfort, we provide complimentary bottled water throughout your stay. For Hunters: We proudly support legal NYS hunters who practice conscientious wildlife management.
