Characterful Cottage in Abbots Leigh near Bristol
Description
A characterful, charming cottage: a mixture of traditional features in keeping with the cottage's age (1876) alongside modern additions. The comfy beds are topped with goose down duvets, wool pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Solar electricity on brighter days, a Morso wood burner on cooler ones (with mains power/heating of course). Abbots Leigh, near Clifton, Bristol, has countryside ambles and walks aplenty. If you're thirsty, hungry or both, indulge at the George Inn opposite. The space Crossways Cottage is a delightful two bedroom cottage. Downstairs is the kitchen diner with Morso wood burning stove and the lounge with Samsung 'The Frame' TV and 2 very comfy British-made Rume sofas. The conservatory has a relaxing 70s egg chair with sheepskins to enjoy reading a book or two and for warmer days, there's the garden to relax in. Upstairs the front bedroom has a kingsize bed with Somnus mattress. There are firmer New Zealand wool pillows or softer 'like down' ones to chose from. The duvet is goose down and bedding Egyptian cotton. Opposite is the small shower room and toilet. The back bedroom has a double bed with Simba Hybrid sprung/memory foam mattress. There are firmer New Zealand wool pillows or softer 'like down' ones to chose from. The duvet is goose down and bedding Egyptian cotton. This room has an ensuite with bathroom. There is a shower too but the pressure on this isn't very high. Guest access Guests have full access to the house and garden but are asked not to use the loft space as this is used for storage. Other things to note Please leave all shoes in the conservatory as it is a shoe free house. There is a sliding storage unit on your right as you walk into the conservatory. Many thanks in advance for this. Under the stairs there are plenty of hooks for coats and spaces to hide bags away. The front bedroom also has a large walk-in wardrobe.
