Private room & bath in Fortitude Manor, a beautiful, artful, historical colonial, situated at the base of Mount Monadnock, & within a short driving distance to other hiking destinations, lakes and rivers. Your 2nd floor room has a queen bed & attached bath. An overflow room w queen bed is available for a 3rd guest. Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire 1st floor. There is plenty of space to relax or work. While we respect any level of privacy desired, we are open to communing with our guests. The space Built in 1790, our historical home is uniquely charming. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and artful. Large kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and/or baking, and formal dining room seats 6-8. There is an expansive living room with fireplace, and a separate sitting room. Stairs take you to the 2nd floor where the guest room is bright and inviting. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire first floor, patio, and 5 acres of open and wooded outdoor space. During your stay Guests have access and use of the house. We have a large kitchen, dining room to seat up to 8, expansive living room, a cozy sitting room, and a nice patio - plenty of spaces to enjoy, relax, or work. We are open to communing with our guests, and we respect any level of privacy desired.
