The cottage is well stocked and the perfect place for a quiet couples retreat or the ultimate family vacation. The space This comfortable cottage is our home-away from home and we look forward to welcoming you to our beach retreat! There are two bedrooms in the cottage – the master has two doubles, an adjacent ensuite and a dresser. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a dresser and plenty of hooks. There is a spacious second bathroom (3-piece) so everyone can have their own space. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to prepare seafood dinners or bake muffins for a day at the beach. Features include coffee maker, microwave, magic bullet and dishwasher. No need to drag along dishes for the children, they are stocked and awaiting your littles ones! Additionally, there is a BBQ on the front deck. The cottage boasts two living spaces, a cozy sitting space off the kitchen perfect for your morning coffee or to read before heading to bed. The larger great room is ideal to unwind after a day on the beach. Snuggle up with a book or enjoy a family board game (plenty of both provided). The cottage has an AC/heat pump, baseboard heating and each bedroom has a fan. There are plenty of linens and beach towels. Internet is also provided. Rinse off after a day at the beach in the outdoor, fully private shower behind the cottage. We have a small collection of beach toys for children. Additionally, there are 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use. The large front porch is a perfect place to start the day with your morning coffee while listening to the ocean waves. It’s also a wonderful way to end your day, with a glass of wine while star gazing with no city lights. Located on the northeastern shores of PEI, you are only 30 minutes to Charlottetown and 5 minutes to world class Crowbush Golf Club (with a delicious eats at the restaurant and club house). The local community of Morell is a 5 minute drive, where you can grab your groceries (including items from the local bakery!), rent bicycles to bike the old rail lines, take the kids to the local park, or rent kayaks to explore the local river. You are 15 minute drive from the picturesque Greenwich – Prince Edward Island National Park, where you can learn about the history and connections with the Mi’kmaq and Acadian cultures and the unique and fragile dune systems. You can spend the day at the beach, hike the trails or visit the Interpretive Centre. The eastern part of PEI has many unique local artisan craft shops, ideal spots for sea glass hunting, and restaurants to enjoy some of the best seafood the East Coast has to offer. If you are looking for a party environment, or are planning on having loud evenings, this is not the right property for you. - Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have other questions! Other things to note Please Note: the third "bedroom" is a backyard bunkie. There is no AC in this space, it is insulated and has windows, a ceiling fan, a portable fan and a ceramic heater for off season (cooler) evenings. Minimum 7 night booking.
