Cozy cottage in the heart of Limagne The space Charming detached house in the heart of the Limagne region, in the peaceful town of Thuret. Our cottage is the perfect place for a quiet, rejuvenating stay. For a perfect vacation, there is a program of nearby tours and activities to discover the heritage and remarkable landscapes: Heritage: Domaine Royal de Randan, Tanneries de Maringues, Riom (City of Art and History), charming villages, castles, and churches… Nature Outings: Numerous lakes and volcanoes with hiking, mountain biking, the Vélorail bike trail, canoeing, tree climbing, and more. In addition, it offers quick access to many tourist sites such as VULCANIA and the LEMPTEGY Volcano (35 km away), the PUY DE DOME and the Limagne Fault (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Clermont-Ferrand, the Vichy spa town, and more. The owners will be happy to guide you on your tours and hikes (plenty of information available, guidebooks, maps, etc.). For a relaxing stay at the cottage, you will love its enclosed outdoor area and its 2 terraces. Guests will enjoy a lovely garden with flowers and trees, which promotes biodiversity and is certified as an “LPO Refuge.” The two-story cottage consists of, on the ground floor: a bright living room with a sitting area, dining room, and open-plan kitchen; a bathroom; a separate toilet; and a bedroom with 2 80-cm (31.5-in) beds that can be pushed together to form a 160-cm (63-in) bed. On the second floor, there is a large bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a baby bed. To ensure the whole family is happy, babies will have all the necessary equipment they need: stroller, changing table with mattress, crib, high chair, bouncer, bathtub, bathing accessories, etc. Games and toys are available for children. Option for short stays from 3 nights.
