During the winter months, road conditions in the Haliburton Highlands can be challenging, and all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicles are mandatory for safe access. Please be aware that driveways, decks, steps, and pathways may become slippery or snow-covered. Guests are expected to use caution at all times. While snow removal is maintained as best as possible, the property owner and its representatives are not responsible for slips, falls, injuries, or accidents (including those resulting in death) related to winter travel or conditions. That said, the cottage offers a truly magical winter experience — from cozy nights indoors to snow-covered trails and frozen lake adventures. With proper preparation, you’ll be able to enjoy all the beauty and activities the season has to offer.
