Sunny, bright and central - this oceanfront cottage boast 180 degree views on the Minas Basin on Kingsport Beach. Sleeps 2-6, beachfront, hiking, swimming and fishing nearby. The space The cottage is perched over the beautiful Kingsport Beach and the Minas Basin. Swimming, fishing, kayaking and walking the ocean floor are some of our favourite activities. It is only a 7-minute walk to the beach with a boat launch, fishing site, swimming and a community run ice cream shop and canteen. Down the road, the community has installed a book exchange and Adirondack chairs that overlook the valley. The area caters to the adventurous spirit with views from the lookoff, hikes at Cape Split and Blomidon only a 20-minute drive away. You are only minutes to quiant Canning for coffee shops, groceries, the butcher, liquor and a short drive to the bustling towns of Wolfville and Kentville. We can also serve as a home base for visiting the many beautiful vineyards just down the road! The cottage isn't fancy but it fits like an old glove. Meander through the mudflats of the Annapolis Valley towards the idyllic farming town of Canning. Turn off an old dirt road with a working farm and find yourself in a cozy and familiar cottage with the original cottage panelling and wooden cupboards. Geared towards a family vacation, this cottage is steeped in a simpler time. The cottage is equipped with a large mudroom, full-sized cottage kitchen and open concept living and dining room. The cottage sleeps 6 and is furnished with three bedrooms - all with double beds. A lovely sunroom overlooks a deck perched high above the water with an outdoor dining table and bbq. Guest access Parking for 2-3 cars in the driveway, Kingsport is walkable. Other things to note We are happy to help you plan your stay with us.
