The Limes Cottage in Tinwell is ideally located to explore Stamford, Rutland and the surrounding area. It is south facing and is light and airy. It is both private and tranquil, whilst being really conveniently located for exploring near or far afield. It provides an excellent retreat, to relax and unwind after a busy day of holiday activities. Recently fully refurbished, it offers a high standard of accomodation. The space Comprises: Ground floor - Fully fitted kitchen, a lounge, a a bedroom and a dining area within the conservatory. Fully fitted bathroom with large walk-in shower, (please note we do not have a bath). First floor - Master bedroom, second bedroom and airing cupboard. Parking for 1 car in front of cottage, with additional parking in the area. There is access to a large garden and orchard. Guest access There is parking for 1 car in front of the cottage during the stay. Additional vehicles can be parked across the road from the cottage in the layby. There is access to a garden and raised dining area under a pergola. Adjacent to the garden is a small orchard and vegetable garden, which guests are free to enjoy. Beyond the vegetable garden is the hosts private garden. Other things to note The Limes Cottage is in the heart of Tinwell village, just a short drive from the A1. It is ideally located to explore Stamford, a truly special place with Burghley House on the outskirts, and Rutland, which has the amazing Rutland Water at its heart. There are countless idyllic villages in the surrounding countryside. Historic Cambridge and Lincoln are within driving distance for day visits and short drives take you to the likes of Oakham, Uppingham and Grantham. If you want to get out of the car and enjoy walking, you can walk into Stamford along the River Welland. Guests can also do the 4 counties walk, walking into Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and back into Rutland, in a day.
