Welcome to CASA MALI in Palmoli, a small village of medieval origin in Abruzzo just 25 km from the sea and 711 meters above sea level. The space The house has a large garden with a separate entrance, a balcony with a view of the valley from which, on clear days, you can also see the Tremiti Islands. With two bedrooms – one double and one with two single beds, a large and bright living room with access to the balcony, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and parking space, it is the ideal destination for those looking for a relaxing vacation in contact with nature. The historic center is interesting with courtyards, stone portals, lunettes and wrought iron railings. The majestic Marchesale di Palmoli Castle, a national monument, is located in the highest part of the town with an interesting Museum of Rural Life that tells the story of the village. Next to the castle is a lovely park with children's play area and a spectacular view of the Maiella Mountains. Palmoli boasts a beautifully decorated 18th-century church dedicated to St. Valentine. Outside the walls is the Convent of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, built in Baroque style and still a pilgrimage destination today. With just a 25-minute drive, you can reach the coast and the city of Vasto with its beautiful beaches of Vasto Marina and the beautiful "Punta Aderci" Nature Reserve, an uncontaminated place with enchanting bays and coves and a crystal clear sea. Here you can savor typical Abruzzo seafood dishes in typical restaurants in the city or on the "Trabocchi", typical restaurants suspended over the sea. The Abruzzo National Park or the Gran Sasso Mountains can be reached in a couple of hours and Rome and Naples in less than 3 hours. In the surroundings of the town you can go hiking in the mountains and then stop in one of the many farmhouses to taste the typical dishes of Abruzzo and Molise cuisine. For a special day, a ferry trip to the magical Tremiti Islands where you can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants or rent a small boat to explore the coast and take a swim in the crystal clear water caves.
