The space The Cottage The Lilypad is on our acreage property that includes three dams, mowed paddocks and a few acres of natural bushland. The cottage is a separate dwelling from the house and sits at the back of the main house, facing the opposite direction allowing privacy for guests during their stay. This fitout was completed in 2023 so everything is fresh and new and high end. The stone bath is located in an outdoor courtyard with operable vertical louvres allowing views to the bush and lawns and wildlife while still providing privacy for guests. There is a spacious undercover back deck overlooking the lagoon equipped with a family size Webber BBQ, Daybed and dining setting. The Location Guests are free to walk around the property and enjoy the wildlife, including a large community of wallabies. Although our entrance is on a main road, our buildings are set back from the road about 450 metres and face the bush so you feel like you are in the country. Our local supermarket and cafes are a short walk from the property so you still have all the conveniences close by. The Fit out and Furnishings The cottage oozes luxury with designer wall lights, quality linens, furnishings and toiletries from well known high end brands such as Sheridan, Microcloud, Adairs, Freedom, Trit House, Al.IVE and L'Occitane. There is a 55" smart TV that allows guests to login to all their subscribed apps and channels. Free fast Wifi is available. Cooking facilities include two induction hotplates, a microwave and a Webber BBQ on the back deck. A bar fridge with separate freezer and crisper drawer is in the kitchen along with well equipped cooking utensils and pans. Guest access Guests can have access to the surrounding grassed areas and lagoon near the cottage as well the other paddocks and bushland. There is a walking track through the bush area at the back of the property. There are three dams that guests are welcome to sit and have picnics by and two jetties. Other things to note Guests will share a winding driveway with the hosts and other visitors so caution is needed. The driveway is mostly gravel surface and during or after heavy rainfalls there may be a few potholes. The surface is still fine for all types of vehicles. Part of the driveway is on a dam wall which does spook some people. It is perfectly safe but most people drive at a slow pace and exercise caution.
