Welcome to our lovely "Maison Mimosa" in the charming medieval village of Caunes Minervois close to Carcassonne. The Maison is an old stone workshop, which has been renovated into a perfect stylish and functional home. The peaceful house is located in the heart of the lively village with a walking distance to bakery, grocery store and to seven restaurants. The terrace has stunning views even to the Pyrenees. The house is a haven to relax and to explore the region rich in culture and history. The space Maison Mimosa suits well for groups of 4-8 people. The house consists of 3 spacious floors. Top floor is a beautiful open space including kitchen, dining area, living roor, separate toilet and outdoor terrace with a dining table and 8 chairs.. The stone walls and great views create a great ambiance and make the top floor an excellent place to spend time with family or friends. In the middle floor there are 3 bedrooms (two with double bed and one with two single beds), working space (inner terrace) bathroom and a toilet. The inner terrace is a good spot for in-distance work. Downstairs there is one more bedroom (with a sofa converted to a double bed) with a bathroom and direct access to the inner yard. There is also a separate toilet. The ground floor has a laundry room including a washing machine and dryer and access to the yard. The inner yard is a very private space and has also a table and sunbathing chairs. The house is in good condition, with everything kept very clean. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of storage space and all the necessary appliances. The air conditioning and heating are powered by three heat pumps throughout the house. There are also radiators for heating. Special insulation double windows help to maintain nice temperature and guarantee silence. The decor is a lovely mix of old and new, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's easy to enjoy comfortable life in the house! Guest access Guests can rent the entire house for their own use. There is a local manager taking care of the house and helping with any practical issues.
