Historic cottage overlooking Wells Cathedral. 5 minutes walk to centre of Wells with an array of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. Tourist sites include: Wells Cathedral, Bishops Palace and Vicars Close, also all within 5 minutes walk. The space Accommodation consists of 2 upstairs bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. The front door leads straight into the Lounge/Dining room. The lounge leads to a separate kitchen looking out onto the back patio area, and through to the downstairs shower room and toilet. The rear door gives access to the patio. We have our own section of the back patio area which is directly to the rear of the property on the left of the wooden planter. Other neighbouring properties have other sections of this open plan area. Please be mindful of our neighbours when using the back patio and turn off the outside light when not in use. Please note there are no bathroom facilities upstairs. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on our property. There is a public garden directly opposite the Cottage which can be used. Other things to note Parking is on a first come, first served basis on Tor Street. It can get busy, particularly on Market Days, Saturdays (and some Wednesdays), there is additional parking on St Thomas Street or a Pay and Display Car Park on the corner by the Fountain Pub. Please note that new parking restrictions have recently been implemented near the property. Parking between 12noon and 2pm is now limited to residents only. We will provide a permit for one vehicle for your use. The only toilet is downstairs through the kitchen to the shower room. Please take care when using the stairs as they are polished wood so can be slippery. We suggest either bare feet or suitable footwear rather then socks when using the stairs.
