Inspired by Dominican and colonial country houses, created to live experiences with family, friends, as a couple or with you Heat the fireplace and savor the aroma of the kitchen Enjoy the view from the balcony, the wind, the jacuzzi Feel at home, in that grandmother's house, where you know love dwells The space We created a rustic, country and colonial atmosphere, between vintage and modern, so that you feel the connection of a building adapted to the mountain environment, but with the comforts of the city. The rooms are small, so we suggest bringing small to medium luggage. You can have old gas lamps and enjoy a night without light. Walls with rustic plaster, without finishing. Showers and bathroom countertops with colored polished plaster, colored polished concrete floors, rubbed concrete sidewalks and steps. Wooden window and door beams, interior and exterior doors in rustic wood, as well as beds and furniture in the rooms. Chairs and furniture that recreate the traditional house. We use elements of stone, wood, iron and recycle others to humanize this space and take every detail into account. La Casita de Charo 1 and 2 have been created with a lot of love... Adapted for accessibility, pet lovers, and supporting athletes and adventure sports enthusiasts: mountain biking (Mtb), trekking, hiking, running, camping, etc. We harvest organic vegetables, fruit, and aromatic herbs in our garden that we can share with you, in this way we support natural food... Take care of the garden. Guest access 1. You can access the entire complex, respecting the spaces shared between House 1 and 2 and respecting the privacy of the guests in each house. 2. We know that children are curious, so keep an eye on them so that they do not access the privacy of the other house. 3. Access to the residential complex is suitable for all types of vehicles, except if there is a lot of mud, which can make it difficult, but not impossible. 4. Access to the property is a steep climb. It is suitable for any vehicle, but if it is wet and the tires have no grip, it is better to leave it in the parking lot below. 5. Parking is shared, place vehicles parallel to house 2 and allow only 2 vehicles per house. Other vehicles can park at the entrance or in the front yard. Other things to note THESE ARE TWO COUNTRY HOUSES, WITH A CONCEPT TO LIVE A COUNTRY EXPERIENCE, LIKE DOMINICAN COUNTRY HOUSES 1. HOT WATER IN JACUZZI, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. If necessary, ask the manager to clean the Jacuzzi and BBQ again before use. We supply charcoal for the BBQ for a fee, subject to availability. The jacuzzi cannot be used with an inverter or generator, only with the Edenorte supply. 2. HOURS FOR LOUD MUSIC, NOISE IN BOTH HOUSES: 10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM We share land with House 2, so please keep the volume of your voice and music down and respect the space of the other guests. Quiet hours or low volume music in the houses is from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM. 3. NEIGHBORING VILLAS MAY HAVE LOUD MUSIC, SOCIAL ACTIVITY, WORK, ETC. THAT DISTURB YOUR TRANQUILITY, VERY LATE AT NIGHT AND VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING We share with neighboring villas, so at some point there may be loud music, social activity, parties, loud voices, construction work, agricultural work, etc., a situation that is beyond our control and that may disturb your peace. 4. RESPECT THE PRIVACY OF NEIGHBORING GUESTS Watch the children, from heights, going to the other Casita if it is rented, making noise, from the stairs, etc. 5. KITCHEN AND CLEANING ASSISTANCE STAFF, FOR EXTRA PAYMENT/NIGHT We have additional kitchen and cleaning staff available for a fee, check with the host. 6. KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR PETS We are pet-friendly, each guest is responsible for their behavior and needs. We appreciate not letting pets sleep on the beds or climb on the furniture and collecting their feces. 7. IN CASE OF A LOT OF RAIN, IT CAN BECOME MUDDY WE SUGGEST THAT ON RAINY DAYS AND FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING UP TO THE PROPERTY FOR THE FIRST TIME, GO UP EARLY The access road to the property is suitable for any vehicle, except in cases of heavy rain and mud that could be a bit difficult, but not impossible. It can get muddy and slippery. The access to the houses has a steep slope. It is a concrete road. In the case of a low vehicle or with street or wet tires, you may have a little difficulty going up. In this case you can leave the vehicle in the parking lot below. 10. Additional persons to the maximum occupancy can only be accepted upon agreement and notification to the host Upon arrival at the property, the guest gives the manager a refundable deposit or hold of RD$3,000.00 or US$50.00, so that the manager can receive the property upon the guest's departure and thus guarantee the reception of the property in good condition. The first bottle of water is included in your reservation. If you require an additional bottle for cooking or consumption, pay the manager per bottle. 12. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT THAT MAY HAVE FAULTS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS AT ANY TIME The electricity supply that reaches the property is from Edenorte, so if there is a breakdown in the service, we are exposed to them and it can directly affect your reservation. As an alternate service, we have an inverter available for lights and some outlets, subject to availability. Use of emergency plant for 2.5 hours, 3 times a day, coordinating with the manager the schedules you want to use it. Toasters, irons, blenders, or any appliance with electrical resistance cannot be used with the inverter. If a customer does so, he is responsible for paying the damages caused to the inverter. We appreciate you being aware of the use of electricity and turning off unnecessary lights and those that are not in use during the day and night. 13. WATER SUPPLY BY TANK AND PUMP, WE SUGGEST TURNING IT ON AND OFF AS NEEDED. WELL WATER SUPPLY, HEAVY AND WITH A LOT OF SALT, WHICH CAN CLOG PIPES UNEXPECTEDLY Keep in mind that the water supply in this area is by tubular well, control consumption. The water that reaches the house is from a tank, with an additional pump to increase the pressure. We suggest that you turn it off and on when you go to bathe or need more water pressure or water heater. Even if the pump is off, you'll have water by gravity, but when it's off it won't turn on the heater. So it is necessary to turn it on to bathe with hot water or to scrub and wash with greater water pressure. Turn off the pump when sleeping to avoid unnecessary noise and contribute to low power consumption. If you have any problems with the water supply, call the manager at his cell phone number to resolve the issue. Turn off the pump during the day and night. If it is not necessary to keep it on, you will have water by gravity 14. SHARED PARKING Parking is shared for both houses. Follow the manager's instructions to ensure everyone is properly parked without blocking access for neighboring guests. You must park in an organized manner so that everyone can have access. 15. NATURAL MOUNTAIN SPACE, INSECTS, FLYING ANIMALS, SPIDERS, RODENTS, ETC. MAY APPEAR THE HOUSE PETS ARE FREE-RANGE. IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC OR DO NOT LIKE THEM, ASK THE MANAGER TO KEEP THEM AWAY It is important to know that we are in a natural space, between mountains. It is a field, so it is very likely that you will see or encounter insects, birds, rodents, flies, mosquitoes, spiders, etc. We also have pets, cats, and dogs on the property. If you are allergic or prefer that they not be loose, please notify the host in advance so that he can proceed to keep them. We maintain indoor and outdoor fumigation every 2 weeks, but some insects may always appear. Keep the kitchen trash covered and if possible take it out at night to the property's dumpster.
