A forest surrounds the farm on all sides, and the nearest - Village: Purkhali is a 15min drive - Town: Rupnagar is a 35 min drive - City: Chandigarh is a 60min drive There are no shops, restaurants, or other commercial establishments nearby — you’re off the grid but not completely remote. Walden, is our family home and working permaculture farm. We’re not a resort. We live here, grow our food here, and share it with you. It is a quiet retreat into natural living, rooted in simplicity, care, and abundance. Time moves slower here—and that’s by design. What to Expect A lived-in family home, not a commercial resort A working farm with chickens, compost, and crop rotation. Blossoms in spring, fireflies in summer, mist in winter. We’ll welcome you on arrival, explain how things work—and then let you live as you like. On-call support for questions; we can organise some activities if you like, otherwise hands-off, unless you would like to get to know more about us or the neighbourhood. During your stay We live on the farm and are available at all times except the 3-5pm and at night, when all of us rest. We can be reached on WA, or a 50-100 meter walk within the farm.
