My own natural granola with berries and pastries. There’s plenty of quiet on street parking and an idyllic riverside walk through Sidmouth arboretum to the town and beach. Otters, kingfishers and dippers live along the river Sid, so keep your eyes peeled whilst walking through the byes. Listen out for the native owls and woodpeckers! Sidmouth hosts Sea Fest and the jazz festival in May, a literary festival and the famous long standing folk festival bridging July/august. The Sidmouth regatta, air show and fireworks finale at the end of august. It's a really great pebble and sand beach for swimming and water sports- with summer lifeguards on patrol. It’s a sheltered beach but we also get a lot of pretty good days of surf. There are water sports equipment hire companies on the beach in the summer months.
