Located in the green hills between Lucca, the Sea of Versilia and the valleys of Garfagnana and the Apuanos Alps, the "Rustico degli Ulivi" is a splendid private house with a pool, suitable for hosting one or more families or a group of friends who want to spend a vacation "under the same roof". Built in 1500 and immersed in 50 hectares of meadows, olive groves and forests, the rustic is ideal for a holiday of relaxation and nature, where time seems to stop. The space The 'Rustico degli Ulivi' is one of the two rural houses located within 'Podere il Giardino'. The two houses are separated by a charming pergola of approximately 200 meters, full of flowers and aromatic herbs, where there is also an old 16th century laundry room that has been maintained over the centuries. The 'Rustico degli Ulivi' extends over three levels (with characteristic ceilings of wooden beams and Tuscan terracotta floors): Floor 1) The sitting area on the ground floor opens directly to the garden. The spacious and comfortable living room is cozy and functional furnished (double sofa bed and Smart TV, antique fireplace, traditional stove, table with chairs). The kitchen is rustic Tuscan style and is extremely well equipped (with induction cooker, pots and pans, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, American coffee maker, microwave, kettle, blender, electric milk frother). Close to the entrance, there is a covered patio equipped with barbecue, table and chairs for al fresco dining and relaxing. Floor 2) On the first floor, there is a spacious room (with a double bed + bunk bed + baby/toddler cot), a corner with a work desk, and a large bathroom with shower and bathtub. Floor 3) On the second and last floor, there is a double room with a private bathroom with shower. The country house is equipped with all necessary amenities: - WIFI and Smart TV - Kitchen utensils and appliances, hair dryer, dishwasher, washing machine -Bath towels and bed linens - Everything you need for small children (diaper changing mat, baby bathtub, toilet liner, handrail, stool, books and small toys) - Mosquitoes in windows, first aid kit, fire extinguisher The 'Rustico degli Ulivi' can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people (9 if there is a baby/toddler). Pets Allowed. Smoking inside of the property is not allowed. Inside the park of the estate you will find: - A beautiful elevated pool (dimensions 5mX10m, depth 1.15m), fenced for the safety of the little ones, - A trampoline (3m diameter) and other children's games (shared with other guests) - Lots of resting areas in the shade of olive trees and fruit trees - Reserved parking. The location of the house will allow you to enjoy a holiday of relaxation and silence, at the same time you will be a few minutes away from the town of Monsagrati, where you will find various services such as supermarkets, restaurants, bars, bakeries, pharmacies and kiosks. Close to the property, you will find: - An organized equestrian center for horseback riding - The Serbacco Natural Park for children's enjoyment. - Cycling and hiking routes The location of the cottage is strategic: - In 15 minutes by car, you can reach the splendid city of Lucca, famous for its medieval walls, Piazza dell 'Anfiteatro, numerous monuments and for being known as the 'city of 100 churches'. - Pisa Airport is a 40-minute drive - In about 20 minutes, you will reach the Versilia coast: Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi (known for its trendy places, seafood restaurants and beautiful beaches), as well as the Camaiore area (quieter, extremely charming and with a wide range of restaurants and traditional shops). - Firenze, the charming city, is less than an hour away by car. - The picturesque village of Lerici, from where the ferries depart to the Cinque Terre and Porto Venere, can be reached in an hour by car. - Those who prefer nature walks/hiking trails can reach the mountainous region of Garfagnana in 30 minutes by car.” Guest access The “Rustico degli Ulivi” is a completely private home. The pool is also private and reserved for you. The olive grove and the park (which includes children's games, are shared with the other farmhouse (located approx. 200 m away). Other things to note The road that connects the "Rustico degli Ulivi" with the main street is a typical country road, not very large and not asphalted. There is no road signage.
