Cottage on the Bayou

Enjoy a quiet get away on the bayou. You can enjoy kayaking, a camp fire, fishing, or sunrise on the deck. Enjoy watching the local wildlife around the cottage. Minutes away from Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, and Holland. Multiple local beaches and places to go hiking less than 30 minutes from the cottage. There is plenty of places to go shopping and activities for the family. Kayaks and camp fire wood will be provided. The space It is a two bedroom one bathroom cottage that can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. The bedrooms are not large but comfortable to sleep in. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom, full size bunk bed in the second bedroom, and a pull out queen size couch in the living room. The bathroom in the cottage is small and can only fit one maybe two people at a time. There is a shower and no bathtub. The shower is smaller than the average shower. A full size kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, and the basic pots and pans to cook with along with a washer and dryer for those that need to use it. Guest access You will have full access to the cottage, deck, and fire pit area. The barn on the property is not available for use. Other things to note You will be provided 6 kayaks and some fire wood at no additional charge. Fire wood is on the black rack by the barn. There is a little wagon next to it that you can use to take wood over to the fire pit. Please reach out to the host if you would like to use a paddle board or need additional fire wood. Additional fees may be associated. Brinks Bayou does have some friendly pet ducks that stay around the cottage and may visit you. Please do not feed them or chase them. Please be aware that cell service can be spotty while at the cottage depending on the service provider that you have. There is also no Wi-Fi.
