Ishinomaki Home Base is a guesthouse operated by "Ishinomaki Laboratory" , a Japanese furniture brand. The first floor is a showroom where you can enjoy Ishinomaki Laboratory's furniture in a relaxed atmosphere and also has a cafe serving craft beer, a deerskin workshop, a handmade bicycle office, and a multipurpose event space.The second floor has four guest rooms, designed by renowned designers and long-time collaborators of Ishinomaki Laboratory. The space This is the largest 3-person room in our guesthouse. It is designed like a space under the eaves, equipped with a sofa bed, and can accommodate up to 3 people. ■Design supervision by：TAIJI FUJIMORI ATELIER On top of furniture designing which is our core business, we are collaborating with renowned architects,also providing product/space designs. Recent projects include designing furniture for the public facilities (libraries, elementary andmiddle schools), office furniture and high end furniture. Our service is focused on designing furniture of today, seeking to diversify furniture design crossing over the scale or categories of business. Fujimori’s design was nominated for the Mainichi Design Award, received the Good Design Award (Special Award) and numerous other awards were given to his works. His book “TAIJI FUJIMORI WORKS” was published in 2019 by Shokokusha. Guest access You are free to use all areas except for "1F Cafe Kitchen" and "Bicycle Workshop 9w". Please enjoy using the furniture of Ishinomaki Workshop. Other things to note ■House Rules Due to the structure of the building, The ceiling is high, and the environment is prone to sound. As a simple lodging type guesthouse, the soundproofing in each room is not sufficient. In order to ensure that you have a pleasant stay, we ask that you do not use the hair dryer after 11:00 p.m, Please refrain from using the hair dryer after 11:00 p.m. and from talking late into the night. Thank you for your cooperation. ■Info About Check-in Our facility generally does not have a permanent staff. Therefore We have a self check-in system. You can check in anytime after 3:00 p.m. A key box for each room is located next to the kitchen door. Please operate the key to unlock it and enter the facility. When the date of your stay is nearing, we will send you an email with the details of the key to unlock the key. Please fill out the guest book when you enter your room.
