The Space You’ll stay in one of two private, fully furnished rooms within our spacious, well-stocked home. Designed with extended stays in mind, your private room offers a quiet escape, while your exclusive living room provides a dedicated space to relax, work, or unwind with a movie. Amenities • Full kitchen access with your own refrigerator space • In-home laundry with washer and dryer • Weekly cleaning included to keep your space fresh • High-speed Wi-Fi for remote work and streaming Your Host & the Dog The home is also shared with a gentle rescue dog. She’s shy at first—best to give her space for the first week or two. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily accept pets and affection. Local Touches I also offer a unique in-home Etsy gift shop featuring handmade body care products from The Skin Wanderlust. Items are available for convenient pickup during your stay—perfect for treating yourself or gifting a piece of Austin to loved ones. Guest access Your Private Space: You'll have a private room that serves as a quiet retreat, complete with a dedicated private living room. For your comfort and convenience, cleaning is provided once a week, including a maintenance check. We are flexible and can adjust the cleaning schedule to every two weeks if you prefer. Shared Spaces & Amenities: • Kitchen: While the kitchen is also our workspace for creating handmade, small-batch preserves, lotion bars and balms, and aromatherapy blends, it is available for your use by or for quick meals most of the time. This helps ensure both privacy and a smooth workflow. I will provide you with dedicated space in the fridge for your groceries and there is a guest dedicated refrigerator upstairs. • Dining Room: The dining room is available for your use at any time. • Yoga Space: The downstairs living room is a tranquil space for morning and evening yoga. We provide all the supplies you'll need, including mats, blocks, straps, towels, and calming aromatherapy mist. Guests must sign a waiver acknowledging they are responsible for their own health and wellness. • Guest Bathroom: The upstairs bathroom is shared among guests and is checked twice daily for freshness. It's restocked with unscented amenities and sample sizes of our artisanal soaps and shower steamers. A deep clean is performed once a week. • Laundry: Laundry facilities are available for a small fee of $2 per load. • Outdoor & Parking: Feel free to relax on the front porch. You will have a dedicated parking spot in the driveway, though due to limited on-street parking, you may find another car parked next to or, occasionally, behind yours. Our Cottage Industry Offerings: We proudly hand-craft a variety of curated preserves, from vodka-spiked blueberry jam to savory tomato onion relish. We rotate over 10 varieties, with a few available at a time. If you'd like to try them, a charcuterie board with cheese and crackers is available as an upgrade. Our products are also available for purchase if you'd like to take a bit of your experience home! A Note on Our Smart Home: Our kitchen is equipped with a few unique smart appliances. I'll be happy to walk you through the quirks of the smart fridge and oven upon your arrival to ensure you have a smooth and easy experience. .
