The space This rustic wood cabin is ideal for those seeking a back-to-basics experience without sacrificing comfort. Here's what you'll find: Sleeping Arrangements: A cozy queen bed in the main room and a loft with two twin beds. (Please note: the loft has a very low ceiling, especially on one side—best suited for children or those comfortable with limited headspace.) Wraparound Deck: A spacious multi-level deck lets you enjoy your morning coffee or evening stargazing surrounded by lush greenery. Wood Burning Fireplace: The perfect way to warm up on chilly evenings. One bundle of Firewood is provided. Kitchen Essentials: Stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils for preparing simple meals, as well as light basics like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cooking is done on a propane stove or the wood burning stove. Indoor Composting Toilet: A clean and eco-friendly bathroom solution located inside the cabin. Entertainment: A collection of books, board games, and fun knick-knacks to help you unplug and relax. Important Details: No electricity, except for a small battery capable of charging your phone and powering a light. No appliances, no Wi-Fi, and no air conditioning—though the cabin stays naturally cool due to its location. Cell service is normally available. This cabin is ideal for those who want to disconnect, recharge, and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the woods. Things to Do Whether you’re looking to explore or unwind, there’s something for everyone: Outdoor Adventures: Skiing at Stevens Pass, hiking countless nearby trails in the Cascades, or enjoying water activities on the Skykomish River. Access & Arrival Reaching the cabin involves a short hike up a terraced path after crossing a charming bridge. This adds to the adventure but may not be suitable for everyone. Please pack light and be prepared for a little effort—it’s all part of the off-grid experience! Dog-Friendly We welcome well-behaved dogs! A dog bed and food/water bowls are provided to make your pup’s stay just as enjoyable as yours. Guest Expectations This is a true off-grid cabin experience, not a luxury hotel. While we provide fresh sheets, a clean space, and basic amenities, the cabin is rustic, nestled in the woods, and offers a unique opportunity to connect with the outdoors.
