Welcome to Big Pine Cottage. Making memories is easy here. Life slows down at the lake. Come relax and gather around the fire pit. Catch fish from the water’s edge. 100+ feet of water frontage on a sandy bottom lake provides a great space to swim and relax. Explore the lake on our 4 person commercial grade peddle boat (the unsinkable kind. Not plastic.) We have 2 sit in style kayaks. A 2 person and a 1 person kayak. *Free firewood on site.* The space This charming lake home offers one level of living with 1300 sq/ft of living space. Enjoy the screened porch overlooking the lake. The spacious main bedroom has a king bed and large ensuite bathroom with a corner soaking tub and separate corner spa shower with jets, rain shower or handheld options. In the second bedroom you’ll find 2 single beds, a Roku smart tv, dresser and closet. The living room sofa pulls out to a comfy queen size bed. Complete with a gel memory foam mattress. Fresh linens and pillows can be found in the twin bedroom closet. Both bedrooms and the living room have a Roku smart tv so please bring your login to stream your favorite apps. Please note we do not have cable tv at the lake house but do have fast reliable internet. Linens and bath towels are provided for your stay as well as lake towels. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities needed to cook throughout your stay. There’s an electric full size oven, large microwave, 4 slice toaster, drip coffee maker, dinnerware and utensils. Groceries are just a 6 minute drive down the road at Market Basket or Walmart. The dining area is open to the living room with a spacious table that seats 6 with lake views through the large slider door. There’s a small home office off of the dining area if you need a quiet space to work or to relax and read a book. You’ll find a game collection in the cubby space. There’s a private dock for your use where you’ll find swim floats, the peddle boat and 2 kayaks. There are various size life jackets hanging under the porch but please bring your own children’s life jackets to make sure there’s a proper fit. A bbq grill is conveniently located close to the kitchen. Propane provided. Guest access The entire main level of living is for your private use except the basement, master closet, one cabinet in the island and detached garage which are all locked for owners storage. The attic is not accessible either as there is no floor just rafters and insulation. If any such locks are tampered with you will be charged a $200 fee. Other things to note Please take note that the water levels fluctuate throughout the seasons and the water can get quite shallow near the dock and shoreline. Sometimes there's a beach and sometimes there isn't. There's also a sandbar in the middle of the lake as pictured on the aerial photo. Though the cottage shares the end of the driveway closest to the road with the cabin next door, you’ll notice upon arrival we’ve created privacy for each home by having separate outdoor areas and separate parking as well as each have their own water frontage and dock. Must be able to walk up and down stairs to access the lake and fire pit area. There’s a set of 9 steps to get down to 2 more shorter sets of stairs which bring you to the lake or dock area. Though this home is pet free and recently renovated there have been pets that lived here prior. We cannot guarantee it will be free of allergens. If you have questions or concerns regarding allergies please reach out. The end of the driveway is shared with the cabin next door and must remain unblocked at all times. There’s parking for 3 vehicles max in front of the garage and fence. If additional parking is needed please let us know in advance and we can make arrangements on site. There’s no parking on the side of the road due to lack of space on the private lake community roads. There are outdoor security cameras on site that actively record video and sound 24/7. More specifically on the garage to oversee the parking area and the front door of the cottage. Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum when enjoying the outdoor amenities after hours. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. We are local responsive hosts and want to make sure you as well as our neighbors have quiet enjoyment while at the lake.
