It is in walking distance to Rowes Bay beach, a park, historic Jezzine Barracks, The Strand, coffee shops, a mini mart, scooter hire & a bus stop (servicing Townsville & CBD, the Stadium and the V8 track). Also, a 10 min drive away is the airport, CBD, Magnetic Island terminal &Casino. There is a complementary breakfast The space There is parking in the driveway outside your apartment. This quite street only has neighbourhood traffic. The airconditioned unit has large windows, all with garden views. The kitchen is fully equipped with a big fridge, hot plate, electric frypan and microwave that can be used as an oven. The round dinning table is conveniently next to kitchen. In a separate bedroom, overlooking a large paved garden, is comfortable queen bed, study desk & TV . These spaces are all airconditioned. The bathroom and laundry ( beside the kitchen ) and separate toilet ( in the foyer ) are private in your downstairs unit. This toilet is just through your unit’s a sliding door which leads to the foyer. Washing machine facilities are also exclusive to guests during your stay and a large cloths line in the courtyard is available too. An ironing board and iron are available on request. The paved court yard garden outside your door has an outdoor table and chairs shaded by a leafy tropical garden. Have breakfast with Sunbirds and Butterflies which often visit this lush garden. Your host Gary, has many orchids and tropical plants of all kinds attracting tropical birds. He is happy to take you on a tour if you are also a keen gardener. Your apartment steps away from scenic paths to the park, overlooking Rowes Bay & more walking paths by the sea to historic Jezzine Barracks, which served as Townsville's first military base. Belrose Mini Mart & Kite Coffee (for great coffee and a bite to eat: has dining tables as well as take away) is a five minute walk away form your unit. Additionally Mariam's Thai restaurant is also close by and has been serving authentic Thai food in Townsville for over 15 years. If you enjoy bike riding there are two available for you to borrow. You host Gary is happy to give you a guided tour of the bike paths along the Strand and some hot tip on where to find the best coffee and food here in Townsville. Guest access Guests have the downstairs unit to themselves and a private garden courtyard just outside their back door. Access to your unit on arrival is through the front door, where you will be welcomed . As hosts, we respect your privacy and use a upstairs back door, allowing you exclusive use to the your unit's front door. Also in your downstairs unit, are internal steps leading to your host’s home upstairs. We have these steps" screened off" to give you a extra layer of privacy. Also located downstairs un your unit is an airconditioned lounge room with a large sofa bed (queen sized), a coffee table and a desk and chair overlooking the front garden. This room can double as a bedroom in the evening as this high quality sofa bed is very easy to convert into a lounge The WC is separate from the bathroom. A kitchen (with a large round dining table ) is also airconditioned. The laundry (washing machine & dryer) is conveniently located in the bathroom. Your airconditioned main bedroom is next to the kitchen . A ceiling fan is installed in the bedroom as well . This bedroom also has a work space . This desk overlooks a private courtyard with lush green tropical plants. All spaces are private with blinds /curtains and separated with doors. As Townsville locals, we are only too happy to give some hot tips to our guests on how to make the most of their time here in Townsville. On the day of you checkout, we usually invite to to breakfast on are upstairs veranda. Other things to note This property is not fenced. The spa and bar-be q are not available for use on the upper level of the garden. Also we are firm on excellent communication between our guests and request you leave your notifications via the BNB app on and check it daily.
