The Kiln - Stay Longer Save More!

Escape life's bustle & retreat to this 4-season cabin, which sits on an 80 acre farm overlooking a tranquil pond. Cozy up inside by the wood stove, play some of the many games provided, or kick your feet up & catch up on your favourite shows as satellite & wifi are accessible. Get outdoors to wonder the fields and go for long forest walks along the many trails, or sit around the fire pit roasting hot dogs and marshmallows! Make sure to keep an eye though, as you're bound to see some wildlife! The space This space was an old tobacco kiln used to dry tobacco leaves. It is now converted into a two storey cozy cabin. Curl up by the wood stove on the main level, which also houses a kitchenette complete with a full fridge/freezer, microwave, flat top grill, and dining table. Upstairs has bar top seating, coffee bar, additional dining seating, minifridge, double bed, pull out couch, TV, and air conditioning. While the cabin does not have running water, plenty of water is provided upstairs and down, as well as an additional water dispenser with cold and instant hot water. The bathroom is located in a separate portable outhouse at the back of the kiln alongside a seasonal outdoor shower (roughly available April/May - October/November). We try to keep your packing light by providing you with all of your basic needs and more! As mentioned water is provided, but also the wood for the wood-stove and outdoor pit, bedding/pillows, towels, cutlery, cooking/bbq utensils, spices, oil, dish/hand soap, keurig coffee, tea, and non caffeine options, coffee mate and sugar, toilet paper. Please note that toiletries are not provided. Another cabin on the property shares the access lane to the road, as well as the trails through the woods, but is not in close proximity or visibility of The Kiln. This fee goes towards extra cleaning, bedding/laundry, dishes, and supplies. This will automatically be applied to your reservation if the correct amount of guests are added. We are a pet friendly stay! Up to 2 pets are allowed to join you for your stay at an additional fee of $20/pet for your stay. This fee goes towards extra cleaning. This is also automatically applied to your reservation when you add your pets as guests.
