Washdamoak Lake is a short 2 min stroll down the lane. Centrally, yet rurally located; Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John, Sussex & Fundy National Park are all within 1 hours driving distance. Dog friendly! The space The cottage is thoughtfully designed to provide a welcoming, laid-back experience featuring warm wood accents, large bright picture windows, comfortable seating, air conditioning, electric heat, Starlink Wifi + Netflix/Amazon Prime; everything you need to feel right at home! The bright, open-concept living space includes a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials to prepare your favourite meals on and off the BBQ. A comfortable living room with a smart TV; perfect for your favourite movie nights, morning cartoons or curling up with a good book. We have a large full bath- an authentic cast iron clawfoot tub (perfect for a nice long soak) with shower enclosure, and three comfortable bedrooms to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Primary bedroom has its own smart TV. Nestled on a private corner lot, surrounded by mature pine trees, two large apple bearing trees and a lush green cedar hedge. Washdamoak Lake is a quick 2 minute walk for swimming with shared cottage community access. Bring your own kayaks, paddle boards or floaties for a fun refreshing day on the lake. Relax on the deck with your morning coffee and smell the roses (literally when in bloom!), listen to the birds chirp, play a game of washer-toss in the yard, have nightly bon fire’s, or simply enjoy the best of what country life has to offer! Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage and outdoor spaces, including the decks, fire pit, and lake (cottage is not directly on lakefront). Lake shore is a bit rocky, but easily accessible and great for swimming or floating. Water shoes recommended but not necessary for spending time in the lake. Note, the detached garage, basement & bunkie cannot be accessed. Other things to note This is a private property in a quaint residential cottage community. We ask you treat our space and surrounding area with care and respect by not trespassing, littering (including pet waste) or allowing your dog to run loose. Cats are not allowed. Water toys and docks at the lake are private property of our neighbour’s and cannot be used. Cottage is exclusively for the use of registered guests - no guests of guests. Ensure your reservation accounts of the number of guests including your dog. This is rural New Brunswick and you may encounter signs of insects & wildlife. This is a sign of a well balanced, healthy ecosystem. The nearest grocery store is located in Sussex (35-40 min drive). Nans Country Store (4 min drive) carries very basic necessities like milk and eggs and other miscellaneous items.
