The space Airbnb now requires "Simplified Pricing." The 15.5% service fee is now included directly in our nightly rate instead of being added at checkout. Our prices haven't increased, the total amount you pay is exactly the same, just shown fully upfront! We are conveniently located just 20 minutes from Queanbeyan and the historic village of Bungendore where you will discover charming local shops filled with unique gifts and delicious treats to share. Drive a little further to the heritage town of Braidwood to uncover even more hidden gems and local treasures. Curl up on the leather lounge to watch TV, read a book, play a board game, complete a jigsaw or just reconnect. Take a picnic down to the dam. At the end of the day relax with a drink and watch the sunset from the back verandah. Sit back and watch the night sky come alive with stars. There is wifi available at the cottage, however as it is located in a rural area the wifi and your phone coverage/signal may be affected/limited during your stay. A woodfire is the only source of heating during winter & enough wood will be provided for the number of nights booked for your stay. The cottage is supplied with harvested rain water. It is a food grade tank with a two filter system attached and the filters are replaced regularly. The water is safe for human consumption. As the cottage is located in a rural setting, periodically micro bats may be active along with other rural and native animals, insects and spiders. Guests are welcome to access the property around the cottage and nearby dam.
