Whether you want to have a quiet getaway, a romantic escape or a base from which to explore the area, this charming cottage offers the serenity of a country lifestyle, a touch of old-world charm and modern amenities to make your stay more than comfortable. Located just 20 minutes from Queanbeyan and the historic village of Bungendore on the way to the South Coast, this is a unique escape. The space A gorgeous, quaint cottage, providing the perfect place for a peaceful, private retreat. Featuring a cosy, inviting atmosphere, high cathedral ceiling, plentiful natural light & carefully curated decor. With an open floor plan, well-appointed and equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, comfy queen size bed, wood fire to keep you toasty warm at night in winter and to keep you cool in the warmer months, a ceiling fan & refreshing easterly breeze that blows in most afternoons. Curl up on the leather lounge to watch TV, read a book, play a board game or complete a jigsaw. Take a picnic down to the dam & at the end of the day relax with a drink & watch the sunset from the back verandah. Cook up a feast on the undercover barbeque & sit back & watch the night sky come alive with stars. Please note that there is wifi available at the cottage & as it is located in a rural area, wifi and your phone coverage/signal may be affected/limited during your stay. Please read our guest reviews and check out our @Insta and FB accounts. Guest access Entry is via a private road to the front of the cottage where you can park directly outside. Guests are welcome to access the property around the cottage and nearby dam. Other things to note We are unable to accommodate infants and/or children. The cottage is supplied with harvested rain water. It is a food grade tank with a two filter system attached and the filters are replaced regularly. The water is safe for human consumption. A woodfire is the only source of heating during winter & enough wood will be provided for the number of nights booked for your stay. Registration Details Exempt
