Welcome to your home in the heart of Brighton! Perfect central location being just a few minutes from the lanes, and 10 minutes from the beach yet very quiet. Everything you need is very close including numerous great pubs and restaurants. This is a light spacious double room on the first floor of a large 4 bedroom house. You will have your own private bathroom just down the corridor. The house is shared with one couple (us) and our 5-year-old, so there is plenty of room. The space Double bed with very comfortable mattress. There is cupboard space for folded clothes and hangers and a full length mirror. Tea and coffee is provided in your room and you are welcome to help yourself to milk from the fridge (usually both oat and cow milk, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer). Iron, hair dryer and GHD straighteners available on request. We also have a travel cot (please discuss before booking if you want to bring a little one). If there is anything else you think you will need just ask and we will help if we can! Large bathroom with bath, shower and toilet on the first floor near your room for your private use. We have a washing machine and dryer that you are welcome to use, which is also on your floor. We wouldn't usually expect guests to use the kitchen in the evening, but if you are here for a few days or want to, then please ask in advance. We don't routinely offer breakfast, but there are amazing breakfast/brunch options within a 5-minute walk. Please ask if you need recommendations. We offer free luggage storage after checkout so that you can enjoy Brighton without dragging your bags around- this is particularly handy since we are so close to the station. NB: We have a 5-year-old child who rarely wakes during the night. He hasn't disturbed any previous guests, but there is a chance you might hear him before school time. During your stay We both work full time but one of us is often working from home. Please contact us on our mobiles for any issues/advice if we are not there. We will provide plenty of recommendations for you to make the most of what Brighton has to offer. Other things to note One of us is usually working from home, but we have a key box so you can self check in, in case we're out (we will let you know in advance if you need to use the key box) We can sometimes be flexible with check in if we don't have a guest the previous night. Parking in central Brighton is expensive and there is a 2-hour max stay on the streets (but free from 8pm to 9am) We recommend the Just Park app to find local car parks. There is an NCP car park at Churchill Square or a car park at Brighton Station. NB: We have a 5-year-old child who rarely wakes during the night.
