Welcome to Vickery Cottage! Kick back and relax in this guesthouse, which is a calm, stylish space with a vintage vibe. Our cottage has spacious living with approximately 840 sq ft. It features one Queen size bed in the master bedroom, another Queen size pull-down murphy bed in the living room. The kitchen features a full frig, dishwasher, restaurant quality inductive range top and there is an air fry/ toaster oven too. Huge bathroom space with large walk-in shower. Option: BBQ & eat on patio. The space You will find this charming cottage to be a cozy home during your stay. The open concept flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining area is roomy. If you need to use the pull-down Murphy bed in the living room, just maneuver the furniture a bit. There is also designated workspace in the living area and in the bedroom. A spacious bedroom with walk-in closet feels like a vintage Hollywood studio with prints of Old Tacoma. The bathroom is huge and so is the shower. Also, a full washer and dryer area that can be closed off is available for you with laundry detergent and softener sheets. Vickery Cottage boasts ample storage for lengthy stays. Two Queen beds are guiding you; " it is time to relax". Guest access Vickery Cottage feels like you are in a little country setting yet minutes away from the Hwy. Unincorporated Tacoma is what gives Summit, WA its country feeling, probably from all of the berry farm's many years ago. Vickery Cottage is one of the dwellings on an acre. There is a home next door (occupied by owner), a pole barn across the way, and other outbuildings. Your space is the cottage, a small yard in front of it, a porch with BBQ for your use, and small bistro set on the porch. After parking your vehicle, follow the brick pathway, enter through the white gate, and step up to porch to front door. Vickery Cottage is a pet free, non-smoking/vaping property. There is designated guest parking in the spacious gravel parkway, which is also shared by the owner. Other things to note We have a discounted seven night minimum. Longer stays lead to more significant discounts. Departure is 11am. Upon departure, please recheck the door to make sure the latch is secure; it will lock on its own. Our check out is easy. Just load dirty dishes in dishwasher and start before leaving. Check the washer/dryer and closet to make sure you have all of your belongings. Pile dirty towels on the bathroom floor and come back again for another visit. I really hope I have earned a good reputation as a host during your stay. We believe our guests are the best!!
