You'll find a Queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, and a convenient Queen-sized pull-down Murphy bed in the living room. The kitchen is a delight, equipped with a full fridge, a dishwasher, and a restaurant-quality induction range top, complete with an air fry toaster oven. The spacious bathroom features a large, refreshing walk-in shower following a day of exploring. Your reservation includes the designated guest parking, Vickery Cottage with a porch, and a small front yard. The remaining areas are for owner use only. You'll appreciate the spacious open concept that seamlessly connects the living room, kitchen, and dining area, ensuring plenty of room for relaxation and socializing. For those who need to work, there are designated workspace areas both in the living room and in the bedroom. The bedroom itself feels reminiscent of a vintage Hollywood studio, featuring a walk-in closet and adorned with prints of Old Tacoma, adding a touch of charm to your retreat. The bathroom is impressively large, and you’ll enjoy a generously sized shower that promises a refreshing experience. Additionally, there is a fully equipped laundry area with a washer and dryer. We provide laundry detergent and softener sheets for your convenience, making longer stays hassle-free. Please note that Vickery Cottage is a no-pet, no-smoking/vaping facility (inside or outside), ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for all guests, plus accommodating my medical condition. I have asthma. If a guest, their guests, or visitors violate these policies in or out of Vickery Cottage, there will be specialized cleaning fees attached to your reservation. Guest access Your host will provide you with a personal access code for the door a day before your Airbnb stay. If you need it, we can also send the GPS location and entrance code directly to your phone. Vickery Cottage offers a delightful country atmosphere while remaining just minutes from the highway. Summit, Washington, has a charming small-town feel, yet it’s conveniently close to Puyallup, the second-largest city near Tacoma. Located in unincorporated Tacoma, this area of Summit, WA, retains a rural charm that harks back to the lush berry farms of yesteryear. The cottage is set on an acre of land next to the owner-occupied home, a pole barn nearby, and several outbuildings. Your private space includes the cozy cottage, a small front yard, and a welcoming porch complete with a BBQ and a charming bistro set. After parking in the ample gravel lot designated for guests, simply follow the brick pathway to the white gate that leads to the porch and front door.
