Experience real Norwegian nature up close - only 34 minutes from Stavanger! It offers stunning views from all glass surfaces. The cabin is brand new - designed and built by myself, and of course with the help of friends and family. Bjørheimsheia offers amazing nature experiences. You just have to walk right out the front door to start directly on marked hiking trails. Prekestolen is located about 15 minutes drive away. Jørpeland City Center is about 10 minutes drive away. The space The cabin is about 70 sqm and has 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms have a double bed that sleeps 2. The bathroom is about 5 sqm and contains a toilet and shower. There is about 120 sqm terrace with fantastic beautiful views close to nature, mountains and wildlife. The terrace has an outdoor kitchen, barbecue, seating area, dining table, sunbed and outdoor shower. We strive to comply with all national laws when it comes to vegetation and interventions in Norwegian nature. It is not free to add water and drainage in the area but we have tried to solve this in the best possible way with what today's technology and solutions meet. There is running water and electricity but not through the public - the cabin is completely OFF-Grid with solar power and battery bank so here you can relax with good environmental awareness. Water works just like at home. There is hot water in the cabin as usual. The toilet is of the vacuum toilet type that is more environmentally friendly but requires a few more flushes. The place is ideal for hikers, tourists, families with small children or couples who want a complete weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It can be mentioned that the well-known trip to Reinarknuten starts from here. Upon arrival, we welcome you and we are happy to tell you a little about the local area, the history of the cabin and answer questions - We also offer check-in without a host present if you wish to arrive at a time when we are not available. Guest access You will have access to the whole cabin. I, as a host, will welcome you - We also take an introductory tour when you arrive at the place. There are plenty of parking spaces about 200 meters from the cabin but just outside there are 2 spaces. Other things to note There is a grazing area for sheep outside the cabin - therefore all dogs must be kept on a leash all year round in the entire area. Parking at your own risk.
