The Hayloft

The creation of the Hay Loft was undertaken by Young Architects of the Year NORD in 2012. Once upon time this was, indeed, a hay loft and now the central feature of this exceptional small house is its picture-book sitting room window which looks directly south over exceptional fields, forest and sky and through which hay used to pass to feed the cattle that lived a few metres away.
