The space This beachfront home sits on a stunning, untouched 20-kilometer beach where you can walk or run in near solitude. Just 15 minutes from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport, it offers the perfect blend of privacy and accessibility. At one end of the beach lies a protected lagoon where you can paddle a kayak (provided) through mangroves and observe a wide variety of birds and wildlife. After kayaking, enjoy fresh local seafood at small fishermen’s restaurants along the shore. In the early mornings, dolphins and sea turtles are often visible from the beach, and in January, even whales. It’s also a paradise for fishing lovers. The house sits on a 5,000 m² lot, with 500 m² of indoor space and 50 meters of beachfront. It features 5 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom and A/C, a fully equipped kitchen, and both indoor and outdoor living and dining areas. The palapa extends into three covered terraces: one with a large lounge area and coffee table, another with a 12-seat marble dining table. The house is powered by a robust backup generator in case of outages, and daily cleaning and cooking service (breakfast and lunch) is included—just bring your ingredients. Guest access Daily cleaning and cooking service for breakfast and lunch are included in the rental (groceries not included). Herminia is an excellent cook who can prepare local dishes and more. Magdalena keeps the house spotless throughout your stay. Airport transfer for 4 guests with luggage is included. If your group is larger, you can request an additional taxi (approx. 580 MXN). For an extra cost, Gerardo can assist as a driver: grocery runs (500 MXN), golf course or Ixtapa (800 MXN), and fishing trip arrangements. Other things to note The house has a powerful diesel generator that fully powers the property during outages—which are frequent in this area. You won’t notice the difference. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, with strong signal in key areas. Cell signal can be inconsistent. Not ideal for guests with mobility limitations. The fifth bedroom is accessed via a spiral staircase and is not suitable for unsupervised children. Kayak and beach gear included. Quiet area—no loud music after 10 pm.
