Please note that due to this central location, you may experience ambient noise and music from the vibrant nightlife in the street below. No car needed while staying in the city. Palermo traffic can be quite stressful, and most streets in the historic center are narrow and largely pedestrian-only. We recommend renting a car shortly before leaving the city to explore other areas, or returning it before entering the center. If you do bring a car, free street parking is available around the apartment, or you can opt for a nearby secure garage.
