Description
Make memories for a lifetime in this unique and family-friendly place. We are two sisters, Kristine and Helene, who rent out our house in Hoddevik, the beautiful, wild, small village with the big sea. Here you can surf, go to yoga, go on the mountain, and fish both in saltwater and freshwater. Lots of great experiences for the whole family. The space About SøstreneHoddevik-huset: The house was completely renovated in 2005 with new walls, roof and floor. New kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps: 5 bedrooms with 9 beds Two double beds, 5 single beds. One large bathroom with washer and dryer, plus a toilet on the second floor. Kitchen with full equipment, living room with sofa and TV, and a porch you can rest on after long days outside:) A small, charming river runs through a large garden below the house. And there are sweet sheep fenced in the field across the river. Other things to note What do you need to bring? • Linens (sheets, pillow and duvet covers) o Bedroom 1 (with en-suite toilet): double bed 180x230 o Bedroom 2: double bed 180+200 o Bedroom 3 (sloped roof with window): two single beds 90x200 o Bedroom 4 (inside bedroom 2, sliding door): two single beds 90x200 o Bedroom 5: Single bed 90x200 • Towels, beach towels and cloths for your own use o note: kitchen towel for washing dishes, towels for hands (bathroom, toilet) • Toilet paper, hand soap, shower soap, dish soap, laundry detergent It's important to be careful along the way. • No loose items must be left outside the house due to strong winds on the City. Outdoor toys in the barn. • Wet suits are not to be brought into the house after use. The costumes are hung on their own stand in the barn. Own bucket there for gloves and shoes. • Sand from the beach on its own cloth, shoes and beach toys must be rinsed/wiped off outside the house. Garden hose at the entrance. • Sand in the shower must be wiped up with cloth/paper, do not flush down the drain (prevent clogged pipes). • Throw toilet paper into the toilet. • Note: The house has a large well, but be careful with the use of water for many guests. The hot water tank is the size of a normal household. Cleaning before departure • Vacuuming and mopping floors in all rooms that have been in use. Dust dry if needed. • Thorough washing of the bathroom and toilet (sink, toilet, shower, floor wash, benches, window sills). • Cloths and buckets for cleaning are available in the bathroom. Hang used cloths over a bucket. • The refrigerator is emptied completely (nothing is left) and washed clean. Note: Leave the refrigerator on. To-do list before departure • The house has a heat pump that is always on. The heat pump should be at 16 degrees. • Underfloor heating in the entrance hall must be at 5 degrees. • Underfloor heating in bathrooms should be at 15 degrees. • Panel oven in bedroom 1 (second floor) should stand at 10 degrees. The panel stove in the kitchen should be off. • “Toad” for power lines for TV and sound system: Do not take out any cords. Turn off electricity. • Lock the key in the key box at the front door. • Take all of your rubbish with you. Throwed in containers (Return point for cabins) down by the beach in Hoddevik or in Leikanger (Nedre Sjåstad 4, New fire station at RV emptying station).
