The Retro Roost: Walk to MTU and Downtown Houghton

- Walking distance to MTU campus, Jim's grocery store, downtown Houghton, and 20 miles of ski/bike/hike trails - Retro, cozy and private one-bed/bath unit with a kitchenette and attached garage Park in the garage and walk directly into the unit! Hosts Adam and Jana live upstairs with their family and dogs. There is a cot, and a fold out couch in addition to a queen size bed, for extra sleepers, if needed. The space Our space was remodeled by host Adam. Adam is mostly a musician, so we'd love to know what you think could be improved. We think you'll love it. There is one step into the unit from the garage, and there are two steps to enter the restroom. There is an electric space heater next to the wardrobe by the bed which can be used on a chilly night. There is a cot and a fold out couch for more sleep space, if needed. Guest access Enter through the garage and go directly into the kitchenette of your space. Take your shoes off at the door and place them on the mat on the left hand side. Thank you for taking your shoes off in the unit. Other things to note The tv has a Roku device. Sometimes you have to hit power to turn the TV on, and then tap any other button on the remote to get the ROKU device to show on the screen. Just log into your favorite streaming apps from there and enjoy some shows and movies on the TV. The WiFi instructions are listed on the wall of the unit.
