The space The room is located on the second floor of our beautiful Mexican family home in one of the best areas of downtown Cancún. The house is spacious, full of traditional Mexican décor, very clean, and designed to make guests feel comfortable, safe, and welcome. It is perfect for refreshing swims on hot Cancún days, relaxing on the sun beds, or enjoying the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by indoor palm trees and Mexican character. Before or upon arrival, we ask guests about dietary preferences so we can make breakfast enjoyable for everyone whenever possible, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and pescatarian options. Our location is one of the best parts of the stay. We are just a few minutes’ walk from Avenida Nader, one of Cancún’s most vibrant areas, with great restaurants, cafés, and bars. You can enjoy the real downtown Cancún experience while still being very close to the beach, the Hotel Zone, and Puerto Cancún, home to one of the best malls in the city. Getting around is easy: buses to the Hotel Zone are close by, and the ADO bus station is also nearby, making it convenient to visit places like Mérida, Chichén Itzá, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and other destinations in the Riviera Maya. This stay is ideal for guests who want more than a hotel room: a clean, safe, authentic Mexican home experience with breakfast, local character, a beautiful private pool, and easy mobility around Cancún. Guest access We will be there to welcome you upon arrival and show you around the house. Guests will have their own keys to the main entrance of the house and to their private room, so you can come and go comfortably while keeping full privacy during your stay. You are welcome to enjoy the shared areas of the home, including the pool and common spaces. If possible and our schedule allows, we may also be able to pick you up from the ADO bus station and bring you to the house. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to coordinate whenever possible. During your stay Merci and Alicia live in the house and are usually available if you need help, recommendations, or anything during your stay. At the same time, we fully respect your privacy, so you can interact with us as much or as little as you prefer. We are happy to help with local tips, transportation, restaurants, beaches, day trips, and anything that can make your Cancún stay easier and more enjoyable. We also have a small dog named Hemingway. He is friendly, sweet, and part of the home. If you like dogs, you may see him around and say hello. If you prefer not to interact with him, that is completely okay too.. he has his own private area where he can stay and relax. Other things to note We love meeting new people and helping guests have a wonderful stay in Cancún. Please note that the kitchen is not available for guest cooking. However, breakfast is included and prepared fresh every morning. The common areas of the house are cleaned daily. To respect your privacy, we do not enter or clean the guest room during your stay unless previously arranged with you. The room is fully cleaned and sanitized before each guest arrives. We have a small, friendly dog named Hemingway who lives in the house. He has his own private area, so guests can interact with him only if they want to. For safety, there are exterior security cameras outside the house and one camera in the pool/common outdoor area. There are no cameras inside the room, bathroom, or private indoor spaces.
